Robert is an IT-auditor and director of AudIT-Sure. He has over 30 years of experience performing IT-audits for small to medium-sized organisations in various sectors. He is specialised in ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 engagements, including DigiD audits, ENSIA audits and security audits. Robert has been a lecturer at SRA for more than 20 years, where he teaches topics such as “IT in SME audits”. He also trains and coaches auditors on the job so they learn how to use IT-audit effectively in their practice. Thanks to his experience and technical background he translates technical issues into language that boards and management can work with.

Maarten is an IT consultant at AudIT-Sure with a background in business and information science. He has over 15 years of experience advising and supporting organizations with a wide range of IT-related challenges. Within AudIT-Sure, he mainly focuses on information security and strengthening the cyber resilience of organizations. For example, he helps organizations gain insight into their vulnerabilities through the SPIC (Security Periodic IT Check). In addition, he has broad experience with ISO 27001 and NIS2.
Sandra Wiekens
Assistant IT Auditor
Sandra is an Assistant IT Auditor at AudIT-Sure with a background in Business IT Management. She has extensive experience supporting organizations through ISO, NEN 7510 and ISAE 3402 engagements, and has worked across a wide range of sectors and organizational types. Sandra has also completed the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) program, strengthening her expertise in governance, risk management and information security. At AudIT-Sure, she supports the execution and reporting of IT audits, contributing strong knowledge of compliance and security, combined with a practical, hands-on approach to process guidance.
Niek is a Chartered Accountant (RA) with over 25 years of experience in statutory auditing. In his role as an RA, he has long had a strong affinity with IT and regularly takes on an advisory role in this area during audits. In 2022, he completed the Executive Master of IT Auditing, further deepening his expertise. Niek now independently performs IT audits for clients. During his studies, he specialised in cybersecurity, enabling him to assess financial and IT risks in an integrated way. Within AudIT Sure, Niek focuses on performing IT audits and advising organisations on the design and use of IT, effectively combining his accountancy background with in-depth IT knowledge.
Chris van der Naald

Chris is a Chartered Accountant (RA) and IT auditor who combines an accountancy background with expertise in IT and information security. He is CISA certified and serves as IT Audit Manager at AudIT Sure. Chris has over 15 years of experience in statutory auditing and several years of experience in IT auditing. His focus is on assessing general IT controls, helping organisations gain insight into IT risks that impact financial reporting. He also has experience with laws and regulations such as NIS2 and NEN 7510. Chris specialises in the healthcare sector and works with organisations including nursing and care homes (VVT), mental healthcare (GGZ), disability care providers, and primary care organisations such as GP practices. From that expertise, he translates IT and compliance challenges into practical, workable solutions.
Marnix Ankone
IT consultant
Marnix is an IT specialist at heart and our technical expert. He combines a passion for supporting entrepreneurs with deep technical knowledge of IT and information security. Marnix has over 10 years of experience in securing IT environments and has recently also become a lecturer, connecting technology with the entrepreneur and, ultimately, the financial statement audit. His focus is on assessing technical aspects and the related IT risks.
Wout Poorterman

Wout is an (Assistant) IT Auditor at AudIT-Sure. He focuses fully on performing IT audits across a wide range of audit and assurance engagements. In addition, Wout is involved in developing and continuously improving the audit approach, and he supports financial statement audits with data analytics. By combining IT expertise with audit experience, he contributes to an effective and well-substantiated use of IT audit and data analytics within the audit practice.
Boudewijn Stam
Assistant IT Auditor
Boudewijn is an Assistant IT Auditor at AudIT-Sure. He studied Business IT and Management at the HAN University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Arnhem en Nijmegen) and gained experience during his studies as a data analyst and as a working student in audit. Within audit engagements, Boudewijn analyses IT processes and supports the documentation and assessment of controls related to the reliability of information systems. He prepares interviews and tests whether processes align with the expectations of the accountant and engagement lead. At AudIT-Sure, he contributes with an analytical mindset and strong IT knowledge to ensure IT audit is applied carefully and backed by solid evidence within the audit.
